AMERICASMART Thought leader and cultural icon Martha Stewart sat down with Flower Editor-in-Chief Margot Shaw at AmericasMart LIVE—part of the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market —to discuss Stewart's new book, Martha's Flowers: A Practical Guide to Growing, Gathering, and Enjoying. More than 750 people attended the in-depth interview and discussion, which included a VIP reception and book signing. 2. LEE LOVES LOCAL Coastal Fog in Greenville, North Carolina, hosted a LEE Loves Local event with LEE Industries, sponsored by Flower, that featured complimentary interior design advice and refinishing seminars. The event also included a make- your-own hydroponic arrangement station and refreshments from The Market at Coastal Fog. FLOWER ON THE ROAD EVENTS 4. ADAC IN BLOOM For seven years Flower has brought together some of the country's most creative talent in interior, tabletop, landscape, and floral design to share how flowers influence their worlds. This year's speakers included floral designer Lewis Miller, architect James Carter, vintage-textile expert Rebecca Vizard, and interior designer Amanda Nisbet. Plus, a Designers to Watch panel featured fashion designer Abbey Glass, interior designer Jessica Bradley, and landscape architect Will McDonald. The day also included pop-up shops from Copper + Crane, Halcyon Days, and more. 3. CHARLOTTE MOSS Flower Editor-in-Chief Margot Shaw participated in a Q&A with interior designer Charlotte Moss at this year's Discover ADAC event in Atlanta. Charlotte discussed what inspires her in her constant pursuit of beauty and why it is important.
